Starting Something New

After I quit my job, I got into a routine. I developed a workout routine that I persistently stuck to every morning. I read books and started on a short story. I took a free course called Art of Storytelling by Pixar on Khan Academy. It’s a simple course but helped me immensely on how to start my short story. I made an outline and it took me less than a month to complete. I wanted to do something creative and I was off to a great start. Starting something new can be as exciting as it is scary but when you’re chasing a passion, it feels wonderful. I had decided on what I wanted to do, I wanted to make a profession out of something I could relate to, and that was screenwriting.
